Product Care
While our products are made to last, daily wear and tear can takes a toll on any object. Below are some tips/tricks to extend the life of your item and keep it looking beautiful!
Lanyards
- Lanyards can be shortened/resized by following the instructions here.
- Need a longer lanyard? You can always request this at checkout, but we can send you an extender free of charge if you need one! Just contact us!
- Please avoid harsh chemicals such as alcohol when cleaning your lanyard. Mild detergent and water are the best way to clean your lanyard.
- Use of chemicals can cause the text or print on your lanyard to bubble or peel or the print on certain beads to fade. Extremely harsh chemicals could even cause the finish on the hardware to be eaten away.
- Your lanyard is interchangeable with any other lanyard we've made since 2023. This means you can swap beads and discs between lanyards to mix things up. Follow the instructions here.
- If your lanyard features wooden beads, exposure to excessive moisture or chemicals may cause the wooden beads to swell and/or become rough to the touch. This rough texture could also cause your clothing to pill. Feel free to reach out to us if you experience this.
- Please avoid extreme heat/cold. We use metal hardware for our lanyards, including our tassels. Exposure to excessive temperature swings may cause the metal to expand/contract which may loosen the vegan suede's bond causing it to fall out. We can gladly send a replacement tassel if needed!
- Repetitive impacts may cause the text/ink to fail. Please do not hang your lanyard around the rearview mirror of your car. While the inks we use are made to withstand extreme abuse (they won't flake, chip, or peel under typical use), they do not like repetitive impacts similar to those endured if your lanyard is placed around your rearview mirror.
